Two improv groups. One night. One completely improvised show. For this special collaboration, Portland’s own Emma Come Back joins YES&Co. for a unique night of long-form improv. The evening begins with a 20-minute opening set from Emma Come Back, an up-and-coming improv group from the Portland area known for their energy and inventive scenes. After their set, three members of Emma Come Back will take the stage again—this time as guest storytellers. They’ll share true stories from their lives which will inspire the YES&Co. ensemble to create a completely improvised show filled with unexpected characters, surprising connections, and moments that can never be repeated.

YES&Co.’s signature format blends storytelling and long-form improv, turning real experiences into spontaneous comedy right before your eyes. Every show is completely different. Every scene is made up on the spot. And it all starts with a story. Join us for a night of collaboration, creativity, and live comedy.

YES&Co. is a non-audience participatory improv group. Sit back and relax!

Micaela Blei is a storyteller, author and story coach based in Portland, ME. She’s a two-time NYC Moth GrandSLAM champion and the former, founding Director of Education at The Moth. She currently teaches Storytelling Performance at the Salt Institute for Documentary Studies.
Micaela’s own stories have been featured on This American Life and The Moth Radio Hour, her Audible Original storytelling memoir was a category bestseller, and her full-length memoir is coming from HarperOne in 2027.
Micaela plays piano with a lot of enthusiasm and almost no skill. Her next storytelling class is here in Portland this April with Maine Improv Studio, and she can’t wait.
