Green Day American Idiot - Portland

Last night at I was presented with this candle made by Father James Galluzzo. He has supported triangle productions! for over 25 years. As many of you know, a percentage of ticket sales go to help out with the Orlando killings just two weeks ago. Whelp, on the candle are the names and ages of those killed. Father James Galluzzo was down there the past weeks holding three funerals for the victims and also pray vigils for their families. I am honored to have a company that wants to help out, but to also be honored to have members of my community who go beyond to help out as well. So far the show and donations have reached $1,030.00 and hopefully we'll have more to donate by the end of tomorrow night. Thank you, my family for supporting triangle. For being our family and for being there when the need is greater. May you all be blessed, be safe this holiday season and remember...we are stronger together than apart.

When AMERICAN IDIOT premiered on Broadway in 2010, I must admit I was skeptical. Like every other person of my generation, I started listening to Green Day in high school. But a punk jukebox musical? Really?

wishes to give BIG shout out to David Kinder of Kinderpics for his donation of his fee for video taping and photographing triangle productions! production of Green Day's American Idiot to the ongoing fundraising efforts of our company for the victims and their families regarding the Orlando shootings one week ago. Thus far, and with David's help, triangle has raised almost $1,000! Thank you David, and others that have helped in this effort.

I love to shop for costumes...and with American Idiot it was interesting when you walk into a store and find something like this...the universe...can't stop loving it! We run two more weeks...don't miss out on this show!

So, I'm in Office Depot today and as I'm waiting in line I hear, "I walk the boulevard of broken dreams..." Really, even at Office Depot I can't escape Green Day! (pretty happy I don't have to right at the moment).

triangle productions! in it's 26 years has been a vanguard of giving back to it's community and now, we are called upon to do it one more time.

After the unsettling tragedy at the Pulse Night Club in Orlando, Florida many people were either killed or wounded. Those left behind are in need of our help.

Don Horn, the producer, director of Green Day's American Idiot here in Portland has declared that triangle's Portland production of American Idiot will give a portion of its earnings to the survivors. Throughout the next three weeks, each ticket sold, a percentage will be gathered and then sent to The Center - Orlando Florida's GLBTQ Center to assist in helping with the recovery of this horrific tragedy. "We have an opportunity to be a beacon of light in this time of great tragedy. It's not because those killed and wounded were gay or le***an; but because they are human beings who are in need of our help. triangle has always stood for equality and unwavering support of all who share this planet. Now, once again is time to help those in need."

Help get the word out. Help us raise funds to help those in Orlando. Show some pride and support in this time of need. Who knows, next time it might just be one of us!
