Be yourself & Proper Sound join forces on a journey into the cosmos🌀, On Feb 22, we embark on an Interstellar adventure led by Spray, Berlin-based navigator of hypnotic rhythms and celestial sounds. The Punctuality label head is making cosmic waves in the underground scene, charting uncharted sonic territories with driving, spacey techno.

This lineup will guide us across event horizons of euphoria, into orbit around pulsars of bass, and through wormholes of pure, unrelenting energy. Joining our flight crew will be none other than local explorers: Blake Rudolph, Carissa illy, Frankl1n and Mauve Decade.

A trance-fueled journey through the cosmos awaits. 👩‍🚀🌀🪐

Spray (Berlin) - Initially sprouting as a reissue label project for pyro + freaky prog, the innate desire for the sound resulted in lockdown tracks and mixes, and the natural step of becoming a producer moniker/DJ. Rooted from Ireland, and now based in the ‘Hollywood for DJs’ that is Berlin, Spray has quickly made noise for seminal crews such as Radiant Love, Soulseekers Allowance and HÖR.

Taste the satiating sound on the debut EP for Craigie Knowes, breaking the formulaic tendency of trance to add essential freakiness, breaks, and wigged out prog; quite the potent brew. Spray continues to please the home crowd with his 2025 residency at Yamamori Tengu in Dublin, as well as operating his label, Punctuality, with releases from Maara, eoin dj, Etari, and Blu:sh.

Tomorrow!! We are so excited to wrap up 2024 with a proper late-night afters, keeping the dance floor energy going until sunrise. Featuring an epic 3.5-hour B2B set by Jaime Schwabel, Manahan, and Rob Noble, plus surprise opening duties from our dear friend Dylan Hall. Proper Sound residents Blake Rudolph and Superfishal holding down the midnight and closing slots, bringing some truly proper vibes to the eve.

Proper Sound & Friends returns on December 31st for a NYE celebration with special guests , and along with residents , .moussa and as we say goodbye to 2024 and hello to 2025 🍾

Tomorrow we’re back at it with a very special season closer with label head/sound engineer/veteran dj & producer making his way to PDX for his first appearance and our local guest of honor joining in on the fun. Residents , .moussa and bday boy will be holding down support duties Proper 🔊

We’re also excited to have .art showcasing some amazing artwork including this large acrylic piece that will be available to purchase at the event 🔥

Our friend will also be displaying his new LED art installation front and center for stage deco and it looks awesome!

Lastly, we’ve got a wide variety of options to quench your thirst throughout the night and into the early morning served up by our very own in the bar area. Hand crafted cocktails, a plethora of beer and cider options as well as some tasty N/A treats as well. Be sure to tip your bartender 😉
