We've put some bullet points about our program for you below, but you can find a thorough explanation of all these program aspects and more on our website. Please contact us if you have any questions - we are happy to help! Special Offer: We are confident that our Irish Dancing Program has something to offer every child, but we want you to be confident in that as well! Class Descriptions: Classes in our program are separated by both age and level, so each student receives the most appropriate structure and instruction. Our program offers classes for ages 3 years old and up, in both Irish light shoe (somewhat comparable to ballet) and Irish heavy shoe (somewhat comparable to tap). Class sizes are kept purposefully small because we believe that this teacher-student ratio results in the most quality, personal instruction for your child. Class Schedule: Classes are offered almost year-round in Portland and other locations across Oregon, Monday through Saturday. Multiple classes for each age and level are offered weekly. Check out detailed class schedules on our website. Tuition and Fees: Our goal is to introduce the wonderful art of Irish dancing to as many people as possible, so we do our best to keep costs low and affordable. You pay an annual registration fee, you buy dance shoes, and you pay for the cost of class. That’s it! We ask that students wear ballet shoes, jazz shoes, or Irish light shoes for the light shoe classes, and tap shoes or Irish heavy shoes for the heavy shoe classes. Our Teachers: Our program was founded and is taught by sisters Christina and Victoria White. Learn more on our website! Frequently Asked Questions (the very quick version): Does my child need expensive Irish shoes? No - ballet/jazz/tap shoes work just fine! Is Irish dancing overly expensive? We don't think so - we do our best to keep costs low and affordable. Our prices reflect the personal, quality instruction our small class sizes provide. Can I try a class for free? Yes! Learn how to sign up on our website. I want to compete - what do I do? Our program is non-competitive, but we can assist you in contacting all the local competitive programs if competition is what you're looking for. We hope to see you soon!
