It’s been a week since PFCAT, and we’re feeling pretty overwhelmed with gratitude.

Thank you to all of the filmmakers who came to Portland and shared your work with us. We loved getting to watch these incredible films and animations. Perhaps even more importantly, we loved all the new connections and time spent together celebrating creativity.

A huge thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, interns, and of course to OMSI for being such a wonderful host. So much goes into making a festival happen, and we’re incredibly grateful for everyone who helped make this one possible.

Mostly, we’re just really happy we got to spend a week together watching beautiful and meaningful work, meeting some of the coolest people around, and being reminded how much we love this community.

Portland Premiere of SENDER

Russell Goldman’s feature directorial debut follows Julia (Britt Lower), who is starting over after getting sober and moving into a new place. When packages she didn’t order begin showing up at her door, containing items that seem strangely connected to her past, she starts trying to figure out who is sending them and why.

The film also stars Rhea Seehorn, Jamie Lee Curtis, Anna Baryshnikov, and David Dastmalchian.

We’re honored to welcome director Russell Goldman for a Q&A following the screening.
