A rebuild of a rebuild for Jared Green. This was originally a swing gate that was turned into a liner with a bolt on vice. I stripped it down and bent the arm into a more liner friendly geometry. Then brazed in a support and the vice to the frame (I dislike how bolt ons rattle). Then cut some custom 1.125” cores and finished it all in a thick clear so it’ll show all the history of the mods.

WASHERS! I’ve always found the stock insulating shoulder washers to be a bit, let’s say, crap. Either they are too flimsy and crush, or are too tight, or just look sh*tty. So to quote a great robot “See a need, fill a need!” and I made my own.
These insulating washers are beefy in all the right spots and correctly proportioned in the others. Plus the larger Rollomatic style is the same diameter as a dime to keep your liners looking proper. Check them out on my website! 😎🎉
