Chimera Theatre Collective We take pride in creating projects that highlight new and overlooked works, voices, and ideas. Chimera:
1. ("Chimera". Merriam-Webster.)

We aim to take the theatrical road less taken as often as possible while constantly working toward making the uncommon common. a fire-breathing monster in Greek mythology having a lion's head, a goat's body, and a serpent's tail.
- an imaginary monster compounded of incongruous parts
2. an illusion or fabrication of the mind; especially: an unrealizable dream.
3. an individual, organ, or part consisting of tissues of diverse genetic constitution
4. A Portland, Maine-based theatre collective creating unique theatrical events that challenge our approach of theatre in all its forms.
