An organization that since 2001 has put on events to celebrate and support small press and DIY culture. Applications open in mid-March.

PZS 2020 is July 11 & 12, 2020 at Pacific Northwest College of Art.

Join us this Thursday from 6-8 pm to celebrate the Portland Zine Symposium's 25th birthday! We'll have copies of the latest PZS Anthology, featuring nearly 20 zinesters from Symposiums past, as well as items from our zine archive for you to peruse. Come get some refreshments, read some stories, and talk about zine plans to come!

*ROSE HAVEN DRIVE this year we’ll have a donation bin for rose haven, a day shelter + community center for women, children, and gender non-conforming folks in northwest portland. please consider bringing: • unopened hygiene items • tents, tarps, sleeping bags, blankets • new underwear + socks • leggings + cold weather gear

*MUTUAL AID ZINE TABLE bring your own zines or flyers to share! 💌

We can’t wait to see you all at PZS!
This year, we’ll have a donation bin for Rose Haven- a day shelter and community center that supports women, children, and gender-diverse individuals in Northwest Portland. 
Suggested Donations:
* Full-size, unopened hygiene items
* Tents
* Tarps
* Sleeping bags
* Blankets
* New underwear
* New socks
* Sports Bras
* Leggings
* Cold-weather supplies 
We’ve also attached two images showing Rose Haven’s current needs. Please do not bring dirty, damaged, or opened items.   We’re prioritizing essential items and supplies rather than general clothing donations!  All items collected will be donated directly to Rose Haven after the festival.  Thank you for helping support our community!

Portland Zine Symposium is less than 2 weeks away!! We are so excited to see you and share zines!!!

PZS will take place on Saturday, November 8, and Sunday, November 9 from 11am-5pm both days. It will be held at the Smith Memorial Student Union Ballroom at Portland State University.

The event is free, all ages, and open to the public.
We ask that you wear a mask while at the symposium. We will have masks for free at check in as well as in tabler kits.

We’re meeting up at Roseline Coffee SE tomorrow and Sunday (October 25-26) to distribute these beautiful posters to some rad volunteers, 11am until we feel like we’re done - weather permitting! If you wanna be a part of our street team, come on by to grab some and help us paint the town with PZS clown colors!!! They’re also available at ***while supplies last 😇
