No rehearsal tonight for either the Student Devised Show or Interrupting Vanessa. Stay tuned about tomorrow as it’ll be determined by PPS, too.

Due to weather, all PPS schools and district offices are closed today (Feb. 13). All pre-school, after-school, and extracurricular activities – including athletics and field trips – are cancelled.

AUDITIONS for Roosevelt High School's Opening Act Theatre Company SENIOR SHORTS

It’s that time of year where Seniors write and direct one-acts (10 minute plays), and ANYONE CAN AUDITION, including YOU. That means, any grade level and community members!

Auditions are TWO DAYS ONLY Mon.-Tues. April 1-2 @ 3:30-5:30 P.M. in the Main Stage Theatre.

Rehearsals begin Mon. Apr. 8 for 4 weeks only a few days per week for a few hours per week and one performance on Thurs. May 2.

It’s for everyone whether or not you have any experience in theatre. Senior Shorts is for you!

We’ve been selected to be the first school in Oregon to produce Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: HS Edition. Let the magic begin! 🪄 BTW If anyone wants to help make this show come to life, let me know. 😉♥️🎭

Broadway Licensing Global chose 29 schools to become the first in their U.S. state or territory to perform the new high school edition of the hit Broadway play.

Roosevelt’s Opening Act Theatre Company presents our first show of the “From Screen to Stage” themed season with a Double Feature of D.O.A. and Night of the Living Dead on Dec. 7-9 @ 7pm. You’ll see both shows in one night. Card-carrying Thespians are free. Show card at the Box Office window.

The “Double Feature” of Stage Left PDX’s production of D.O.A. and Roosevelt’s Opening Act Theatre Company’s production of The Night of the Living Dead, part of the “From Screen to Stage” season, have been rescheduled to Nov. 14, 15, and 16 at 7:00 P.M. Current ticket holders will have their tickets automatically changed to new dates and can be exchanged for any date through the original ticket link or at the Will Call window the nights of the show. Anyone wishing to purchase tickets can purchase online at www.roosevelttheatre.org/buy-tickets or at the Box Office window each show night. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the show!

We serve the entire Roosevelt High School campus. The Theatre Arts Department is divided into Classes, Club, and Company.
