Dance Audition & Fabricator needed!

Imago Theatre is holding auditions for an original dance theatre piece titled "The Year 1968."

For fabricator work see the end of the post.

The production will run for six performances from March 26 to April 4, 2027. We are looking for 8 to 11 dancers to feature in this work reflecting this explosive year in American history.

Applicants must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Please note that if you attended the most recent Imago auditions, you do not need to audition again.

Virtual Auditions (Deadline: June 30)
Submit a 30-second to 1-minute video showcasing your dance or movement skills, along with your resume and headshot, to: [email protected].

Live Open Auditions
The open call will be held on Saturday, May 30, at 11:00 AM at Imago Theatre, 17 SE 8th. Please arrive at 10:45 AM to register and bring your ID, headshot, and resume. Attendees should wear dance or athletic attire.

Accessibility
Auditions are held on the second floor, accessible by stairs. If you would like to request an accommodation, please email Jerry at [email protected] so that we can arrange to audition you on the first floor.
