basement recordings and bedroom mixes, to work done in the best of studios, high-quality audio mastering is more important than ever. An experienced mastering engineer has heard 1000′s of records in a precise, familiar room, and will have a fresh perspective on your mixes allowing them to be the best they can be. Mastering is not only your final opportunity to make sure that your record is competitive, it’s your last chance to make sure that the vision you have for the music you’ve worked so hard comes to fruition. We believe there’s more than one way to master a record correctly. It really comes down to what flavor you’re looking for, or what mood you’re trying to convey. From Gavin: “The album is a definitive collection of my fan fiction and horror tribute songs, newly remixed and remastered, topped off with 3 unreleased tracks for 2025 (one about Quint from Jaws, one about neighborly werewolves, and one from the perspective of a robot house with poor sportsmanship).”

Credits: Falling (the Twin Peaks theme) was written by Angelo Badalamenti and David Lynch, produced and mixed by Gavin Castleton, featuring vocals by Holly Frost (aka , aka Lex Land, aka One Big Dark Room).
