Let me introduce our SPONSOR Japanese Restaurant AOMATSU SUSHI & GRILL in Corvallis! One of our project members in OSU went to Aomatsu and checked the restaurant!
-------------------
Today I went to Aomatsu and see what the food was like. The atmosphere of the restaurant was laid back and casual, creating a very friendly vibe for a Monday evening.
I ordered the California Rolls and the Dukbokki, a spicy Korean rice cake dish. The California Rolls were very refreshing, they had immensely fresh ingredients and had such a moist and soft taste to them. With the rolls, they were also well-packed, not too loose or tight and created a very refreshing taste with the sesame seeds mixed with the cucumber and crab meat. Being such a simple dish, it was very stimulating appetizer.
With the main dish, the Dukbokki, it was savory and quite spicy. If you enjoy spicy food, this is the dish for you! Having the perfect combination of spices, savory, rice cakes and fish cakes with seafood, it creates a very aromatic dish with plenty of flavor. It was also a very filling dish overall, which helped to compliment the already delicious flavors.
Aomatsu has a nice combination of both Japanese and Korean food. So if you are looking for either or both types of food, try out Aomatsu today and maybe you'll find just what you like here!
