ANNOUNCEMENT: In the wake of Sinead O’Connor’s heartbreaking death by su***de and other recent events, I am called to once again evaluate the state of my own mental health. It has not been stable lately. Bipolar. We have seen what it can do to me and my family. (A lot of good and a lot of bad and not much in between.)
I started Instagram in 2017 after releasing an album (wanting to share it to the best of my ability). Several people who work in advertising told me that I “had to” be on social media in order to be a “successful” artist (and I believed them). Instagramming was fun for awhile, but has ultimately contributed negatively to my life and proved to be an unhealthy avenue on which to travel as an independent artist and self-promoter.
I have considered it before, but the time has come now. I will no longer keep or nurture social media platforms. This is not a “solution,” but rather a shift that may likely be effective for my life worth living as a mom, wife, Artist and friend.
Tasha Miller (and Valentina Sunshine) Facebook and Instagram pages will disappear, though I will keep my email list…and I invite you to join it!

ALL Valentina Sunshine concerts will still happen! My website will remain intact and updated. MRSTASHAMILLER.COM
Thank you for following me. I’ll add you to my email list if you’d like to continue following my artistic and community-related journey. Thank you.
I wish you bright days, warm nights and peace of mind.
My heart personally goes out to the soul of Sinead O’Connor. Her decision to die is a wake-up call for some of us, her fans and followers. I respect her decision no matter how sad it feels to those of us in the world she left behind. She had 56 solid years and for that, I am thankful. I trust that she tried her best to survive even one more hour…but it wasn’t in the cards. I offer my condolences to her closest friends and family.
I hope you are looking out for yourself and loved ones. If we don’t have health, we don’t have life. If we don’t have life, we don’t have nothing. Peace.
A Tasha Miller song is iconic. That voice and lyrics. Her pianos and multiple musicians. Incomparable performances...one after another. Many long time Portlanders know of her as the city's incomparable 35mm portrait photographer. A multi-dimensional emotional master, this legendary and psychological
