One of my earliest films I was able to work with Robert Carradine. It’s was shot in Louisiana and it was a challenging shoot from the get go with budget changes, crew walkout, and communication issues. Honestly, I was just trying to survive and do a good job under incredible amount of stress. He was kind to me, and very professional even when he was very frustrated with the situation on set…..and schooled others that it was their job to set a good example when they knew better. He could be a tough read but his actions and words had a lasting impact on me. I’m sorry to hear he’s gone. RIP.

It’s been a weird season with our haunt closed down. Fun to do some different things than I normally do. But one thing I’ve strangely missed doing is my 10 min vamp makeup that I always complain I never have enough time for! The last few years I’ve played the first house greeter….a very dumb idea when you are also running the makeup team. So I usually have between 7-10 min to bang out a makeup and get in costume as fast as possible (usually with costume help of and .learmouth thank goodness) and run to the front. I’m often super grumpy when doing this makeup on myself because I do depend on its impact on my confidence as an actor…..so it’s strange that this is the one that has stuck in my head. But there you go. Happy Halloween Week everyone. Get out there and visit some haunts!

I am shattered.

To all that knew her, Christin McNair was one of the most unique, special, caring, funny, interesting people to walk this earth. A character that left her indelible mark on both your memory and your heart. My husband and I met her at Frighttown, and she quickly became not only a friend but someone we considered family. If Christin had called asking for a shovel, a truck, and no questions we would have showed up. Granted it would have probably involved a hearse in a ditch and an embarrassing story involving a zip tie….but that was Christin. A person who had known incredible adversity and turned it into a life lived with reckless abandon. If you knew her, you know what was lost in a recent tragic accident. If you didnt know her, you missed out on one of the coolest chicks ever. I don’t think any of us will get over missing her and the joy she brought to her friends and family being…..well Christin. Unabashedly Christin.

Please support her wife Britney May and family during this tough time.

From the archives…. Mira Mira! Shot of being creepytastic in for and . sculpted and molded these lovely pieces for me since I was on set, and and ran the foam, wig was by , lenses by Gothika, and I pre-painted and applied on the day with an assist on different days from Clara Garza and Katrina Nelson. Toughest part is we had to figure a way to attach the pieces to tights at the last minute because the temp dropped to 18 degrees and it was just too cold.

Been sick for a week post , but finally coming back to life. This was a fun demo for makeup with and an assist from Tiffany (who will be properly tagged once I figure out what is her handle). Used some at the very end. If you know Trevor, he’s got a lot of tattoos so this was a fun cover up as well. We used all and they went down like butter and fast. All RCFX alcohol based makeup was used as well as their fast and haunt blood. Brian and I have known each other since 2006 or so, even been roommates…..but we so rarely get to play together that this was a special treat. Big thanks to the RCFX team for grabbing pics at various times ….you rock.

This little film that could! For those of you who haven’t seen this - great storytelling, slow burn thriller with a horror twist…..and don’t be on your phone because you will miss the clues. Now available on ! I had no idea when brought me on to this what a crazy ride it would be, but I’m so glad he did. Wonderful cast and crew, and thank you to for keeping people pretty while I destroyed them on the other days.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted a selfie. It’s harder to do as you get older. You don’t recognize the person in the picture, there are lines you didn’t see before, and you have to face the fact time is going to match on no matter what you do. Maybe you look a lot more like your grandmother than you realized. Life now is nothing like my thirties, or forties…..passing fifty is a whole new world that I wished I had prepared for better but I didn’t know. No clue. So heads up slackers

I know I haven’t posted for quite a while. I’ve been going through some changes in life and it’s not been easy, as well as trying to figure out where I’m heading. For those who have been contacting me concerned, I left LA for Ravenous Studios North a week before the fires. I injured myself on the way back to PDX unfortunately. Frustrated and not able to do much, I sat down and tried to teach myself zbrush over a couple days. It’s great. I have a lot more to learn and this rough attempt at a bust is…welll…..rough, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised how much I’m enjoying it. Old dog, new tricks.
