This class offers a longer 30-minute mat warm up in the style of an Active Flexibility class, then we apply those stretching vibes to floorwork sequences on and across the floor.

Catch our legendary Bay Area twerk instructor Jazmyne in Portland on Saturday, June 6th at 12:40 am! Twerking is a type of dance that came out of the bounce music scene of New Orleans in the late 1980s. During this class, you will learn the techniques that make up twerking which are rhythmic rotating, revolving and waving movements of the pelvis to make the b***y shake.

Join AC () for a tassel twirling overview designed to help you explore various twirling techniques for all bodies on Sunday, April 19th at 12:40 pm. Bodies, chests, and cheeks are all different so finding the right position and technique is key to get those tassels moving. We will also discuss choosing the best pastie size, pastie placement on the chest and b***y, tassel attachment strategies, and what to look for when buying tassels.

Tassels can be purchased ahead of time by emailing [email protected] or DMing on Instagram (). Tassels can also be purchased online (ensure that tassels are suitable for twirling). We will be using double sided fabric tape (such as Hollywood Fashion Tape) to attach, which could result in irritation if allergy occurs. Allergen-friendly brands can be easily found online although they have not been tested for twirling.

Recommended Attire:
-Bare chests once pasties are applied
-High cut thongs/bottoms that allow for access to apply assels and clearance for tassel twirling
-Layers to remove
