The Soul Restoration Center is SUPER excited to host this event for Black women. When I birthed my 8-pound twins (which broke the hospital record in Detroit), my white nurses discouraged me from breastfeeding, when it is actually the healthiest way to start a baby's life. Please encourage the Black expectant mothers in your life to attend this event!! Childcare is provided!!

Join AABCO and REACH on January 17 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at The Soul Restoration Center in NE Portland for a free, special community health mixer celebrating Black lactation professionals!

You will learn about lactation advocacy, career opportunities and local breastfeeding resources for Black parents. Enjoy free refreshments while you chat with professionals and community members.

I’ve noticed quite a few people take pictures of our yoga mat that is hung on our front door at The Soul Restoration Center. They are not being sold online anymore, but I have 10 brand new ones that I decided to sell. First come, first served - $85 each (new) or $65 used. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!!!
