Another festival weekend in the books! It’s such a treat to hear everything from acoustic singer/songwriters to bands to DJs on a crispy sound system, and we love the versatility of our sound system for its ability to reproduce such a broad range of program material with grace. We had an excellent time out at .ontherange this weekend! This event has been a major part of our journey since its inaugural gathering, and we were honored to be tasked with deploying audio for the Main Stage and the Barn this year.

Our main stage deployment consisted of six Evo7 and eight F221 in a quasi-end fire array, with the goal of achieving maximum output and coverage width (with the added benefit of minimizing disturbances to the rear). We also employed our custom tune-up we developed back in February, and were blown away by the positive reception and feedback we received from folks all weekend.

The Barn stage consisted of our recently debuted x hybrid system, deploying four Funktion One F121, four Intent 21lfv, and four Funktion One Evo6. We integrated both subwoofers to operate throughout their full passband to maximize output and extend our low frequency extension, achieving a flat response down to 27hz.

We assembled an all-star crew for this one, and we couldn’t be more proud of their efforts to pull off a flawless weekend. Big love to all involved!

We’re headed to The Gorge Amphitheater with a truck full of BIG SOUND to supplement with 22x 21” subwoofers for The Meadow Stage at . It’s an honor to partner with a team of this caliber on an event that means so much to us, and we couldn’t be more excited to support their efforts on our home turf. Who will we be seeing out there!?

Happy belated Valentine’s Day to this team, who had their love for high quality sonics on full display this weekend supporting .mp3 at the Roseland Theater. This crew had a large F1 rig unloaded from a truck, up to a second story, arrayed, patched, and powered up/prepped for tuning in just over an hour - and had the truck rolling off the lot in under an hour on the back end. Portland - When we’re quiet… you know we’re cooking. We have spent the last few months expanding our technical capabilities and available inventory, and we are very excited to be debuting our Funktion One sound system for Jade Cicada at the Roseland Theater this coming Friday 02/14.

For this event, we will be showcasing a fully digital signal chain from source to amplifiers, direct three-phase power into Powersoft x-series amplification for balanced loading, and custom linearized speaker correction designed in-house for the Funktion One Evo7 and F221.
