Dubwise & Beyond w/ 8BallPosse - October Edition 🎱

This month marks two years of Dubwise & Beyond on Subtle Radio . Big thanks to everyone who’s been along for the ride or checked in on any of my shows over the last couple years.

For the anniversary show I’m pulling together a lot of my favorite sounds and records at the moment. Starting with some old-school dub, ragga, and hip-hop before moving into the dubwise, dungeon, and percussive sides of dubstep. Still working through records I brought home from London earlier this year, plus a couple new ones that recently came through the mail.

Also included one of my favorite tracks at the moment, F & Headhunter’s “Dedale.” There’s just something I love about this era of dubstep - the drums, percussion, and basslines.

All vinyl.

Catch me live on Subtle Radio - second Sundays of the month, 2–3 a.m. UK / 9–10 p.m. EST.

Dubwise & Beyond w/ 8BallPosse - September Edition 🎱

This month’s show came out of prepping for As Above So Below Festival here in Maine, where I joined the homies Michael Savant for a B2B during the Sub•Cul•Ture Music & Arts takeover on the Static Stage.

Funny enough, I don’t have digital decks at home, so when I’m getting ready for a set, I dig through my record collection first, work out what I want to play, then make sure I have the digital versions ready for the gig.

So for this month’s show I pulled out a stack of old-school dubstep classics I was digging through for the festival. Lots of Skream, Emalkay, Jakes, Goth-Trad, Tunnidge, Distance, and more.

All vinyl.

Catch me live on Subtle Radio - second Sundays of the month, 2–3 a.m. UK / 9–10 p.m. EST.
