It’s probably no big secret that I’m not overly fond of being on social media. I signed up because someone told me it was important to do as an artist and small business. While I’ve met some amazing people on here, I’m also not able to definitively say how much it has helped my business to grow. Most people tend to find me through an old-fashioned online search.
Over the past couple of months I would regularly think about posting but also felt such a strong revulsion whenever I began to make that effort. So, I simply let it go. A photo of myself seems to be a requirement to gain traction on a post, and, quite frankly, my work isn’t about me, it’s about the compassionate and grounded space that is cultivated. That space is one of co-creation with my clients, helping spirits, and ancestors.
A shamanic practitioner once told me that my presence is what heals. It’s not what I do or say; things have a way of surfacing when there is a safe and grounded container for them to be witnessed within.
My work isn’t flashy, but it’s deeply needed. It isn’t about trying to convince you to work with me. You’ll know if and when that time comes. As one client put it, I make people face themselves. Not everyone is ready to do that. I’m still here though, patiently tending the space for when you are ready.

A few pages from my perpetual journal from over the past several weeks. Things that inspire me and things that bring me joy. It was fun to paint something completely different than the usual and just for me!
1. Mildly obsessed with Grogu! My husband thinks it’s because I want to listen to the music. Well, I am a band geek. I was into John Williams soundtracks instead of musicals in high school, and well, if I’m honest, I still do!
2. Didn’t know I had planted white monkshood until this year!

4. Love how colorful these berries are!
5. After many years of tending this little plant we finally have lemons growing!
