WE OFFER SOCIAL BALLROOM DANCE LESSONS AND BALLROOM DANCE SOCIALS We also offer social ballroom dancing on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings.

Maplewood Dance Center in Portland, Maine features one of the nicest, if not the nicest, hardwood dance floors in the United States. Our dance floor is not only 3,200 square feet (40 x 80), it is not obstructed with any posts, tables or chairs. At Maplewood Dance Center, we teach a wide variety of group and private ballroom dance lessons for the beginner and advanced beginner/intermediate level da

ncer. Please see our monthly calendar on our website for our current schedule. While you are there please click on the FAQ link for more information regarding our dress code. In order to help protect our beautiful dance floor, we ask that everyone carry in the shoes that they plan on dancing in and change into them in our lobby. No food or drinks may be carried into our facility. We have a Cash bar which sells a selection beers, wine, soda, juice and water in addition to chips, pretzels, popcorn and other snack foods.
