Wytche Daye November 23, 2024 A one day, pagan eclectic faire with workshops and vendors and lots of Magic!

09/11/2025

Dear friends of Wtyche Daye,

After much reflection, we have made the difficult decision that Wtyche Daye will not take place in 2025. A number of unforeseen circumstances, including personal matters, have made it impossible for us to properly plan and host the event this year. We know how much this gathering means to our vendors, performers, and guests, and this choice was not made lightly.

We are deeply grateful for your understanding and continued support. Our hope is to return in 2026, refreshed and ready to make Wtyche Daye more magical than ever. Thank you for being such an important part of this community — we can’t wait to celebrate with you again.

With gratitude,
The Wtyche Daye Team

Hello Celtic Faire/Wytche Daye Family!

Rebekah here! It has been a while and it’ll be great to be back together again in the summer. Just a quick note to let you know that my family and I have made the long difficult decision to move out of the area and go back to Bend where I am from. And that means that I will no longer have any connection with Celtic Faire (or Wytche Daye,) and I won’t be a point of contact for anybody anymore as I am officially stepping out of the planning and production realm of the board, although still remaining a silent member. I will no longer be the one answering or caring for the online presence of either event so keep that in mind when posting or sending messages 🤓
BUT my plan is to actually attend the fair in the summer as I will be back to visit often, so you may still see me floating around at different local events. 😀
It has been an amazing nine years, (well 10 if you count taking a year off to accommodate the plague lol , (5?) for WD!) and I have learned so much about myself and what I am capable of doing and have met the most amazing community, both vendors and attendees alike! I will miss seeing the same people every year and working with you all. 😢
That being said, the board that you will be working with are incredibly experienced and wonderful human beings and I consider them my family ❤️ so if you have any questions, feel free to email the Celtic Faire or WD emails or DM us anytime! Everybody have an amazing year, & keep your eyes open for faire updates!
I love you all,
caed mile failte &
An oiread sin grá

Rebekah

Happy feast of St. Lucie day! And Friday the 13th 🙂

Saint Lucy is among the most popular and most powerful saints. Officially she is the matron saint of the blind, the visually impaired, the poor, and the hungry. Unofficially, she is associated with all sorts of magical sight, ranging from clairvoyance to the Evil Eye. Several of my books contain spells that invoke Lucy to heal and remove the Evil Eye.

This year's feast of Saint Lucy falls on a Friday the 13th, making it even more powerful and prime for magic, as some of the manifestations of Lucy may hide hidden veneration of the golden goddess, Freya, who is also associated with the gift of psychic skills.

This painting of Saint Lucy is attributed to Francisco de Zurburan or his school.
