You were there!
You saw it happen in real time and you probably still don't fully know how to explain it to someone who wasn't in the room.
May 16th was something special from the jump. Matt B.C. stepped into the batter's box and did exactly what a great host does -- got the room loose, got them laughing, and handed off a crowd that was already locked in. Chelby Morgan stepped up next and let her writing do the talking -- sharp, crafted material that landed clean and hit hard. Then Keisha Hunt took the mic and the whole night shifted. She put the jokes down and picked the audience up, playing the room like she'd known everyone in it for years. Adam Bob closed it out with stories about getting older in comedy -- kept the energy exactly where Keisha left it and rounded the night out the right way. That's not an accident. That's an MPH Comedy lineup.
Nobody wanted it to end. The crowd said so. Charlie's said so. Loudly.
So she's coming back.
