When drawing with graphite or charcoal, use a cosmetic powder puff to blend in large areas or to create a soft gradation.

Shhhh 🙊🙊! This is a surprise anniversary gift from Brenda to Jimmy that she asked me to paint! She's going to give it to him on the 16th, but said he doesn't look on Facebook unless she shows him, so we're safe posting this early! 😎😉 Happy anniversary!

Thoughtful Thursday's Art Tip:
Before you start to paint on a cotton stretched canvas, spray or brush water onto the BACK of the canvas. This will make the cotton become taught so it is easier to paint.
