Pedro has 3 Christian music albums and excited to share his music in the preshow and intermission. He spent 6 years in choir. His previous credits include: 9 productions of Scrooge, Passion Play (Family Christian Center); Suessical the Musical, Charlie Brown, Shake Up Christmas (Hope Creative); Daniel’s Dilemma (Faith Church).

Carrie Brown
Author: From My Heart to His

Carrie was born and raised in Northwest Indiana and has spent the last 30 years as an elementary school teacher. A mother of four, she discovered the foundation of her faith while attending Purdue University in Lafayette, Indiana, where she became involved with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. In recent years, she has had the privilege of leading ministry at her church and encouraging others in their spiritual journeys. Poetry remains an important outlet for Carrie, helping her process life’s trials and joys while bringing clarity and peace. She hopes her writing inspires reflection, growth, and hope.

Madison Vela
Anastasia: Rejection Misjudged

Madison is thrilled to be part of this production. Her previous credits include Church Lady in The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, Lucy in A Charlie Brown Christmas, and Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical. Madison is grateful for every opportunity to bring stories to life on stage. She would like to thank her husband for being her biggest supporter in everything she does and loves very much.

Mike Johnson
Gabe: Frameworks

Mike (Gabe) has previously appeared on the Living Hope stage as Rudy in “Shake Up Christmas”. Mike has also performed at Indiana University, Franklin College, Calumet College, the Shakespeare And More Theatre Company of Indianapolis and numerous community theaters in the region. Mike is a retired pilot and lives in Crown Point with his cats Al Sotek and Lois Lane.

In my youth I was painfully shy, so being on stage is way out of my comfort zone. But my part in Hope Creative's Shake Up Christmas changed that. I like trying to develop a character and working with other creative people. Just goes to show, you are never too old to grow.
