2. we all look in the mirror and dread what we see. every single one of us sees the flaws and the failures and the mistakes that "could have been" successes. the gray hairs, the slightly fallen brow from years of being the "strong one", the undeniable residue of hardship in the eyes...but those things are what make photos amazing. Although I no longer even own a camera that isn't attached to a smart device (and enigma was always just a hobby) I love that I can look here and remember how much photography and art have saved me.

As long as the urge to make something beautiful is stronger than the one to drive off that cliff we're in the safe zone.
