Starla Ranell Art Mixed media paintings and prints available for purchase. Almost all of my images are animals that I feel a deep emotional and spiritual connection with.

I think of most of my artwork as “Expressionism.” A few are “Abstract Expressionism” and “Realistic” ones. I don’t have the words to explain my feelings and ideas about them. When I try to explain it verbally people just don’t get it. So here are my “words” visually expressed, a language that puts it out there, for my fellow animal lovers to enjoy. I create my work with acrylic paints, oil stiks,

alcohol inks, gel media, stamping and stenciling, paper napkins, scrapbook papers, and miscellaneous found objects.
