Last weekend was my last art fair for 2019. It has been a fun and successful year. I have now posted many of my batiks on my Etsy website (natureartbylynn). Batik note cards and mini batiks are all updated. NEW! (see images) I have combined two of my art forms into one creation. I have painted a batik for the background and a reverse glass piece in front for a 3D effect. I can't wait to spend the winter creating new pieces! I'd appreciate the sharing of this post with family and friends that enjoy art. I can be contacted directly to eliminate Etsy fees if interested.

Think Spring! Want to get out of the house? Stop by ART IN THE BURG on Saturday, March 9th and see some amazing art. The art fair is open from 10 - 4 at Cedarburg High School. 75 artists with 25 being new. I have created this new springtime lily watercolor batik and made it into my newest note card. Also, downtown Cedarburg is a quaint town to have lunch and spend time exploring the unique shops. Make it a day in Cedarburg! Please share with friends that may be interested.

When it turns November, I think of crisp autumn days, cozy fires and I start looking forward to celebrating the upcoming holidays with family and friends.

It is always my favorite time of year for art fairs. I will be exhibiting my watercolor batiks, cards and my new mini batiks at 3 fairs in the next several weeks. Each one is filled with talented artists exhibiting unique art creations. It's the perfect time to find that perfect gift. On Sunday, Sept. 9th, I will be exhibiting for the first time at the Starving Artist Fair sponsored by Mount Mary University Alumnae Association. The art fair will be on the west lawn of campus and is open from 10 am - 5 pm. Come see the talent of over 200 local, regional and national artists. All artwork will sell for $100 or less. There is an admission fee of $10, children 12 and under enter free. Admission fee supports Mount Mary student scholarships. Be sure to stop by my booth # 106 to say hi.

I have always loved mini frames. So I finally got out my tiny brushes and created my new mini line of batiks on mulberry paper. The mini batiks are matted inside a 3 x 4" wooden frame.
