I’m looking forward to sharing my watercolor batiks and note cards. I am only able
to be there on Saturday. If you are in the area, stop in and say hi. I am booth 21!

I love exploring the natural world. I enjoy hiking, traveling, photography and gardening. The inspiration for my art comes from the beauty of nature around me. My batiks are created on Ginwashi Rice Paper or my newest Mulberry Paper with a multi-layering technique of watercolor and wax. Both papers are semi-transparent, with small fibers running through the rice paper and long, wispy strands through the mulberry paper. The papers give the batiks a beautiful texture and a unique natural look. I have deckled the edges which finishes them with a feathery touch. I like bringing a bit of nature indoors.
I love painting birds, flowers, small woodland creatures, rustic barns and lighthouses.
