American Young Voices is an all-inclusive, multi-faceted music education program designed to support developing 21st century skills such as communication, collaboration, creativity, mindfulness, and innovation through music. Our aim is to provide a musical experience for children that will encourage a love of music and that they will remember for the rest of their lives. We provide teachers with a

ll of the necessary materials to prepare students throughout the year, including resources such as musical scores, lesson plans, vocal and accompaniment recordings, lyric sheets, access to our online community, assistance from our friendly and experienced staff, and so much more. Our repertoire is fun and accessible, varied and eclectic, and this year-long journey culminates as thousands of students come together as a massive chorus in an arena near you conducted by Francisco J Nunez, artistic director of the Young People's Chorus of New York City.

Welcome to the Land of Oz, where there is a young woman, born with emerald green skin — smart, fiery, misunderstood and possessing an extraordinary talent. When she meets a bubbly blonde who is exceptionally popular, their initial rivalry turns into the unlikeliest of friendships…until the world decides to call one “good,” and the other one “wicked.”

After joining Broadway's Wicked cast in March 2026, Oluchi Nwaokorie boasts an impressive resume and will continue to make a footprint of her own, joining the Young Voices choir for a special Wicked medley on the stage of the Prudential Center!

David Lewis OBE
1940 – 2026
We are deeply saddened to announce the death of David Lewis OBE, founder of Young Voices, on 11th May 2026. He was 85.

David founded Young Voices with a simple belief: that the greatest gift was “putting a love of music in a child’s heart” and that the best way to do that was by providing them with a mind-blowing musical experience.

From a single concert in Dublin in 1996, that idea grew into the largest school choir programme in the world, with over 3 million children having participated in a Young Voices concert.

We will miss him. Our thoughts are with his family, his friends, and all those who knew and loved him.
