⚠️ WEATHER CLOSING ⚠️

Due to the worsening forecast for tomorrow, including the potential for flooding and wind gusts up to 45 mph, DANCEWORKS, NY will be CLOSED tomorrow.

This was a difficult decision, especially so early in our season, and we waited as long as possible while closely monitoring the forecast. After hearing Nassau County officials urge residents to stay home tomorrow, the decision became much clearer.

The safety of our dancers, families, and traveling teachers will always come first. 💜

Thank you for understanding, and please stay safe!

DWNY is hitting the court!
🏀💜

We are SO excited for our 2026–2027 Pre-Team to make their season debut performing at the Long Island Nets Home Opener on Friday, November 13! ❤️💙

There’s nothing better than watching our dancers light up the floor—and getting to do it at a professional basketball game makes it even more special! ⭐️

Let’s go DWNY! Let’s go Nets! 🏀🔥

Yes, apparently at DANCEWORKS, NY we only hire beautiful, talented women… and there is a slight preference for the name Kayla. 😂💜

All kidding aside, I could not be more proud of the incredible staff I have beside me this season. These women are talented, warm, dedicated, encouraging, and genuinely so excited to share their love of dance with your children.

There is something really special about having a team that not only loves what they do, but truly cares about the dancers walking through our doors each week. I’m so grateful for each of them and so excited for everything this season will bring.

Season 21 is going to be a GREAT one. Welcome back, dancers — we missed you! 💜🖤✨
