Nepal has experienced catastrophic flash flooding due to the breakup of a glacier. Thousands are missing and the destruction is widespread. The following is a reply, from one my friends there, to my query as to the best place to send donations to help with the relief effort. Please give if you are able:

“Thank you Everett for your kind message.

We also would like to thank you to all our guests and well-wishers for your kind thoughts, prayers, and concern during this difficult time. We truly appreciate your support. 🙏

Many of our guests have asked how they can contribute to the relief efforts. For those who wish to help, the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund of the Government of Nepal is accepting donations to support people affected by the disaster.

The donation gateway for international donors is now live, and the card is supported.

Thank you for standing with Nepal and supporting those in need. Your generosity can make a real difference.

Facebook has greatly restricted the number of Event invitations I can send, so posting here, as I am worried that a lot of fans might not be aware that the great Jim Page is playing Rainshadow Recording this Sunday evening at 7:30. We don't get him too often, so you don't want to miss this. Those who know, know. For those who don't, Jim Page is one of the most repsected songwriters to ever come out of the Seattle scene. Topical, political... in the tradition of Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, John Prine and others. If that is your cup of tea, this is a show you don't want to miss. Hope to see you on Sunday! Advance tickets at rainshadowtickets.com. Doors at 7
