At Dance 4 Life Academy, our Homeschool Performing Arts Program gives students an opportunity to learn the performing arts—not just participate in them.
🩰 Study it.
In Dance Education, students explore dance history and learn about influential dancers and famous ballerinas through biographies, research, discussion, and educational activities.
✏️ Create it.
Students learn the creative process of choreography—how movement is developed, how music influences choreography, and how ideas become performances.
🎭 Write it.
In Theatre & Performing Arts, students are creating their own show from the beginning! They develop the setting, characters, storyline, plot, and stage design.
🎬 Produce it.
They learn what goes into bringing a production to life—from choreography and staging to costumes, props, performance, and production decisions.
💃 Perform it.
Jazz, Tap, Theatre, Choreography, and Movement Science give students the opportunity to put their education into action.

D4L provides structured performing arts and physical education coursework, including curriculum, assignments, assessments and documentation that homeschool families may incorporate into their student's homeschool portfolio and academic records. Families are responsible for determining how coursework is documented and credited within their individual home education program.

Our Thursday Homeschool Performing Arts Program is beginning. This program gives students an opportunity to build real skills while exploring the arts in an engaging, hands-on environment to keep to the homeschool method.

Students can explore:

💪 Physical Education & Movement Science** — fitness, strength, flexibility, coordination and healthy movement
📚 Dance Education & Appreciation — dance history, technique, styles and choreography
🎵 Jazz & Tap Technique** — rhythm, musicality, coordination and dance technique
🎭 Theatre Education** — acting, scripts, stage skills and public speaking
🤸 Dance with Acrobatics — strength, flexibility, balance and body control
💡 Choreography & Production — creativity, staging, costumes, performance and leadership

These aren't just dance skills. Students are developing **confidence, creativity, communication, discipline, teamwork and an appreciation for the arts along the way.

✨ HOMESCHOOL FAMILIES — EDUCATION JUST GOT A LOT MORE CREATIVE! ✨🎭

Dance 4 Life Academy is excited to introduce our Thursday Homeschool Performing Arts Program — Where Education Meets the Stage!

This isn't just a day of dance. Students will move, learn, create, collaborate and perform while exploring subjects that support their homeschool education through the performing arts.

💙 Thursdays | 9:15 AM–2:00 PM
💗 Ages 6–18

Our Thursday includes Physical Education & Movement Science, Dance Education & Appreciation, Choreography & Production, Tap Technique, and Theatre Education, with dance and acrobatics concepts incorporated throughout the program.

Students will explore fitness, anatomy, dance history, rhythm, musicality, choreography, acting, public speaking, production, teamwork, creativity and so much more.

🎓 Elementary and Middle/High School learning tracks allow us to make coursework age appropriate, with older students receiving more in-depth assignments, projects, performance analysis and educational documentation.

💰 $150 per week
📚 $100 registration fee includes all books, a D4L Homeschool T-shirt and materials needed for the semester.

Our goal is to give homeschool students a place where they can receive meaningful instruction while building confidence, creativity, discipline, friendships and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

At **Dance 4 Life Academy**, our Little Stars Performing Arts Program is more than dance class—it’s a creative early-learning experience designed to help children **learn, move, imagine, communicate, and grow!** 💙

Through age-appropriate lessons, center rotations, stories, creative projects, music, movement, dance, and acrobatics, our Little Stars are strengthening important school-readiness skills while having FUN.
