The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture is calling on photographers statewide — and we know our fair family has plenty of amazing shots to share.

Whether it’s a sunrise over the barns, a fair‑ring moment that makes you smile, or the beauty of our local farms and fields, this is your chance to highlight what makes Pennsylvania agriculture shine. 🌾🐄

Submit up to four original photos by June 30 for the PA Agriculture Photo Contest. Winning entries will be displayed at the Pennsylvania Capitol Complex this September!

The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture is now accepting entries for the Pennsylvania Agriculture Photo Contest.

Pennsylvania residents can submit up to four original photos highlighting the people, places, traditions, and beauty of agriculture across the Commonwealth.

Winning photos will be displayed in the Pennsylvania Capitol Complex during the first the weeks of September.

Categories:
On the Farm: Featuring buildings, equipment, landscapes, and daily activities that represent life on a Pennsylvania farm.

PA Fair Season: Showcasing the traditions, excitement, and community spirit of Pennsylvania’s fair season.

Agritourism: Highlighting Pennsylvania’s agricultural and seasonal destinations, including orchards, wineries, and farmers’ markets.

Conservation: Capturing Pennsylvania’s natural beauty through landscapes and waterways.

Our Largest Field Pumpkin category is officially in the spotlight — and YES, you’ll need to write down your pumpkin’s weight when you enter it. (Don’t worry… we’ll double‑check it. We know how competitive this gets.)

Whether it’s 40 lbs or 400 lbs, we want to see those homegrown giants roll into the fairgrounds!

🇺🇸🎶 HEROES & HARMONY — MAY 30TH! 🎶🇺🇸

We’re excited to share this incredible event hosted by Supporting Our Heroes of Central Pennsylvania — happening right here at the Ag Barn on the Juniata County Fairgrounds!

This full day of family fun celebrates our local heroes with music, food trucks, kids’ activities, and live entertainment. From the Car, Truck & Tractor Show in the morning to Hillbilly Diesel rocking the stage in the evening, there’s something for everyone!

👏 Huge thanks to Supporting Our Heroes of Central Pennsylvania for organizing this wonderful community celebration.

🪑 Bring your chairs, bring your family, and enjoy a beautiful day honoring those who serve!
