Greetings to all those who love and support Western Washington Center for the Arts!
Do you have a passion for local arts and want to make a difference? We are looking for new members to join our Board of Directors! WWCA’s Board of Directors are of vital importance in supporting and sustaining our theatre and local arts in our community. It is especially important now, as we handle the process of potential relocation and further community involvement. While we are looking for all types of volunteers, we particularly have a need for people with a background in grant writing and fundraising.
All you have to do to start is complete the application found here. Next, a board member will contact you about the interview process.
Our Board meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month. Board members are expected to participate in the following:
Board members can only miss up to 3 meetings in one season with the theatre. If you cannot make this commitment, you can still apply to join committees to be a part of the team!
Board members must be a member of at least one committee. These committees meet once a month. Committees include grant writing, fundraising, publicity, building, and events.
Board members must be an annual member. You can become an annual member by either paying the $10/yr fee OR purchasing a season ticket.
