Academy of Dance Academy of Dance has been committed to building a studio of excellence for over 29 years. Academy Of Dance offers dance classes for ages 3-adult.

Our highly trained instructors are dedicated to providing a positive, healthy learning environment where students are encouraged to reach their full potential. Academy Of Dance is located at the top of Mile Hill in Port Orchard Washington, across from the McDonald's. Academy Of Dance holds two main ballets each year, one in December including "The Nutcracker" and one in June. And, all non-ballet s

tudents have the opportunity to perform in our twice yearly "Stars of Tomorrow" shows. We have classes to fit all ages, styles and levels throughout the evenings Monday through Friday and Saturday mornings. Ian Howe discovered his passion for tap dancing at age 5 after watching Savion Glover perform on Sesame Street. He trained and competed for nearly 18 years before spending eight years performing around the world as a dancer and singer with Holland America Line. Returning to land in 2011, Ian began training dancers and creating award-winning competitive choreography. In 2018, he became Owner and Artistic Director of Pacific West Performing Arts, leading two locations while continuing to teach, choreograph, and lead workshops internationally. He will soon relocate to Australia, where he will continue training and inspiring dancers.

Gabby was a great team player, crushed our conditioning run, and took the majority of the water from our water bucket teamwork challenge😂 Kyla was super locked in during rehearsal and did an AMAZING job learning her new Synergy routine and always has a great attitude. And Savannah was such a great teammate and leader in rehearsal. Keep it up, girls!!
