A local player had a nice Brunswick GC1 for sale.

He sold it to a gentleman about an hour away in ocala area.

Well they showed up in a van and decided to take it apart themselves. Then I got the call, they were stuck and needed guidance.

Went down to his house and helped them get it torn apart and loaded for the trip.

Then the guy calls and wants to hire me to do the install. So off to Ocala I go.

He had the base already installed and leveled. So got the slates on and leveled.
Small lil slate repair, and sealed the seams. Recovered in the Blue Gorina cloth that was already installed a few months before.

All in all the table fit well in the space, and came out looking awesome.

Next adventure is around the corner……

Surprise install……..

One of the guys on my pool teams birthday is in a few days so his better half reached out to me and we got this table picked up and delivered.

Def surprised him. Recloth coming soon, but for now it’s in the house, centered to the room and leveled.

What a trip, last week I tore down an early 50’s 9ft Brunswick Centennial and packed in my trailer to deliver and install in North Carolina

First off this damn thing is 30 years older than me. And what a beast of a table it is.

8 hours drive and 500+ miles on Monday, decided to check out a local pool hall called fat cats. Played a couple hours on their 9ft diamond. Then went back to get some sleep.

Tuesdays the day. What a house, fully under remodel and the priorities were very clear. This table is the first piece of furniture in the place.

Started by getting the base set exactly where he wanted it. He had his laser level ready to go.
Then I started on the rail system. He wanted new Simonis green cloth installed. A lot of abuse to this rail system. Had to take my time as the staples wouldn’t grip the slaughtered wood.

After rails were finished we got the slate inside and on the base. Damn sure don’t make slate like that no more. My back is still cussing at me.

While doing prep work to start covering we found a broken piece of slate and few lil issues with the slate. So after I got everything repaired I started the leveling.

All in all a great experience, first out of state move for me.
And what bad timing, right as gas prices went nuts.

This was a beautiful house and he added a beautiful table to go with it.

My buddy Ken reached out via text and hooked me up with a lady joining his bca pool league. She wanted a table to practice in her home.

Well, I just happened to have three to choose from, and she picked the 8ft Ohlhausen.

So today I went and installed this beautiful Ohlhausen in her garage.

8ft Ohlhausen with green championship cloth.
Like all garages leveling was not fun. But got it locked in, sealed the seams, center bolts, and recovered.

This was fun, and nice company from the client. She kept me very hydrated, which was needed for another Florida garage install.

Local pool hall work today, again Wes and I got to it and killed 4- 7ft diamond in 3 1/2 hours. Went with Gorina gt200...

Spent last weekend in west palm area with my buddy Wes from billiard fitters.

12 - 7ft diamond tables with blue Simonis at beef and ale

Then a private 9ft diamond, with new blue Simonis, look how faded the cloth was from a cleaner the guy used.

And finally 5- diamonds with green Simonis at Connolly‘s.

Fun fun, until my roof started leaking onto my bed at the hotel. I swear I can’t win on hotel issues when I go out of town. lol

But all in all a successful trip

1- 8ft leisure bay, 1 owner, red championship cloth, hardly played on with few accessories. $1400.

2- 8ft Brunswick Contender, 1 owner, tan/camel championship cloth, hardly played on, minor damage to wood on 1 rail. With accessories $1400

3- 8ft Ohlhausen, green championship cloth in great shape. $1400

All prices include delivery and full set up.
If you want to change the cloth price will vary with type of cloth you prefer.

A local pool player, and installer asked if I could tackle this project. He was originally contacted to do the job, but found himself too busy to get to it and asked if I’d like the job…… hell yeah I’ll take it.

This was an 8ft table that the owner actually got for free. Lil older tables but rails still had life in them and everything else looked great.

We went with Simonis tournament blue.

Slate was a nightmare to get into shape, but got it leveled.
Covered in new cloth, and table was ready to roll.

Client sent me a text about an hour later saying it’s one of the smoothest tables he’s played on.

Remember if you love what you do it’s not work, it’s art.

Last week I saw a Facebook post from a very nice lady who was willing to donate her pool table to a church or other such place that could use it.

So she settled on the Salvation Army.

With her generous offer I decided I to would donate my time to tear down, move and set back up.

Me and my son got it all done and hope the kids truly enjoy it.
