The SC4 Players - Theatre at St. Clair County Community College

The SC4 Players - Theatre at St. Clair County Community College St. The Theatre Arts Discipline produces several plays each year, including dramas, comedies, musicals and children's theatre.

Clair County Community College's Theatre Arts Discipline provides a quality educational experience for students interested in learning about theatre as a career or just making theatre a part of their overall college experience. Part of the college since its founding in 1923, the program is the next step for students who have been part of a high school drama group, or a first step for those new to

theatre. Live theatre productions complement our academic course offerings and give SC4 students the opportunity to learn to express themselves artistically, both onstage and backstage. The SC4 Players produce four shows annually that are directed and supervised by SC4 faculty and include students, alumni and community members as actors and crew members. The SC4 Drama Club also produces two shows per academic year, and these are entirely student directed and produced. College credit courses offered by the Theatre Arts Discipline fulfill general education and humanities requirements, and transfer to Michigan's four-year colleges and universities. Current course offerings include: Fundamentals of Theatre, Oral Interpretation of Literature, Acting, Improvisation and Role Play, and Stage Makeup. Special topics courses are also offered periodically. We’re excited to announce auditions for the SC4 Theatre Program’s Fall Production: Over the River and Through the Woods by Joe DiPietro, directed by Jay McCulloch.

Auditions:
Thursday, October 9 from 5:30 PM to 8 PM
Fine Arts Building, Room 25

Performances:
Friday, November 7 at 7 PM
Saturday, November 8 at 7 PM

Auditions are open to all SC4 students.

This is the THIRD time I've directed this BEAUTIFUL and WONDROUS show.
I LOVE it, and the stories are both TRUE and LIFE-AFFIRMING.
