The SC4 Symphonic Band starts its fall cycle Wednesday, August 26, 7:00 PM in the Fine Arts Building (FAB) rehearsal room.

All instrumentalists from high school AAAAAAAALLLLLLLL the way up are welcome to join us for our fall cycle: "In Autumn Skies"

The following pieces are currently in the folders:

"Wild Nights!" by Frank Ticheli
"October" by Eric Whitacre
"Autumn Leaves" by Joseph Kosma, arranged Alfred Reed

We also have a lot of really, really cool "program" announcements to make over the next few weeks.

I am working on a project and am missing a few *SC4* Concert programs.

If any of you happen to have any of these squirreled away and could send me a picture of the literature listing of what we played for any of the following, I'd truly appreciate it:

Beautiful night for a concert outdoors!

SC4 Bands will perform their second-to-last summer concert at 7 PM at the harbor pavilion, close to where the old fire station sat behind SC4.

The concert will last about an hour.
Bring a lawn chair and a cooler!

In the harbor pavilion behind SC4 down by the river (where the old fire station used to be.

We have a nice, light program for you.

The concert will last approximately 70 minutes.

Rehearsals for the summer cycle start this wednesday, may 13, 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Building.

Even if you have not been a member of the band throughout the year, you're welcome to join us for the summer cycle.

When anybody wants to add something special to their event, live music with real musicians is always on the table.

SC4 has gone back to wanting a live commencement band for its graduation

If you are looking for a nice, easy introduction to sc4 band and a quick, low pressure performance opportunity, the sc4 band will be running two short rehearsals, tonight, Wednesday, April 29th and next wednesday, May 6th, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. We are preparing to play the processional and recessional for the SC4 graduation on Friday, May 8th, from about 5:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Even if it is your first time back in a while, we'd love to see you and introduce ourselves before we start our summer cycle.

Rehearsals take place in the Fine arts building on the SC4 campus and this quick performance will take place at McMorran.

Summer cycle starts wednesday, May 13th.
