🚨 PLEASE DON’T LOOK… THE STATUES ARE NAKED. 🚨

Well… technically they always were. 😅

As part of the ongoing restoration of the iconic Night & Day Fountain statues, the original patina has been fully stripped down by Zahorsky Studio so the restoration work can continue properly.

This important project is being fully funded thanks to everyone who supported and donated to the Night & Day Ball — and we couldn’t be more grateful for the community support helping preserve a piece of McMorran history.

Restoration work is continuing, and we can’t wait to show you the finished result!

You may notice some changes happening to the Day & Night Fountain statues in front of McMorran Place!

A professional restoration company has begun removing the old patina from the statues in preparation for a brand-new patina application and protective wax coating. Over the years, the original colors have faded due to age and weather exposure, and this restoration will help bring the statues back to their former beauty.

During this process, the statues may temporarily appear discolored or different in spots as the old finish is carefully removed.

This restoration project is being funded entirely through proceeds from the Night & Day Ball fundraiser held in March. No City tax dollars are being used for this project. Thank you to everyone who supported the fundraiser and helped make this restoration possible!
