Every Fourth of July Port Hope Host there annual Show truck and tractor pull.

There is a huge flea market, food vendors, petting zoo and many more activites at the school or look at antique tractors & watch fireworks at dusk and a parade on Sunday!

From the bottom of our hearts the Port Hope Tractor Show Committee would like to thank you; to our pullers for putting on a great show, sled crew, the people that came in and watched, our vendors, and everyone working behind the scenes from day one (you all know who you are) the sponsors without you it wouldn’be possible, thank you all! The work doesn’t go unnoticed and we couldn’t do it without such a great group!!! We hope you had a great weekend, and hope to see you all back again next year!

Today’s the day!! Looks like the rain is going to hold off tonight. As a reminder the truck and tractor pulls start at 6:30 pm tonight. We hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday weekend!!

If you haven’t already marked your calendars we are almost a week away until Port Hope 4th of July 2026 festivities! Bring the family out for the weekend and enjoy whether or not it’s at the Port Hope-Hope Activity Center or at the Historical Society. This year it is July 3rd-5th with the 40th annual antique tractor show featuring John Deere tractors. This year we are doing a tractor parade on Friday with two tractor parades on Saturday. The 21st annual modified tractor and truck pull is Friday night at 6:30pm. For food wagons on Friday night it will be Sandman’s and Savor Street we also will be having a lemonade tent again! Saturday is the 56th annual antique and local tractor pull at 1pm. Also the fireworks are at dusk on Saturday night July 4th. The down town parade is on Sunday at 2pm. We will also have shuttle service from the main parking lot across the road from the Hope activity center known as the former school. There will also be handicap parking only by the main entrance of the pulling track. We also have sponsors with generous donations that we need to thank for their support for this event.
