A most unexpected alliance has formed in North East today... unicorns and pirates.✨

Pirates from nonprofit besties Community Connecting Us and The High 5 Initiative will be at Unicorn Quest, handing out pirate tattoos and flyers for the upcoming Port Deposit Pirate Takeover. ☠️⚓

And we have to give a hearty ARRR! to High 5, who has been one of our pirate partners for all five years of the Takeover. They’ve been part of the crew from the start, and we’re mighty grateful for them. ❤️🏴‍☠️

A huge thank you to Hooked on a Skein, aka Hats, Stuffies and Thangs for once again supporting the Port Deposit Pirate Takeover as both a sponsor and vendor!

For the second year, they have handmade an incredible hat for us to raffle. This year it’s an angler fish hat with glow-in-the-dark eyes and lure, with nearly 30 hours of work put into it and a value of $175.
