The Artisans' Shoppe at The Gerry House will be closed today to celebrate a dear friend's wedding. We will be open tomorrow as scheduled. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

Shawn has been busy as a bee and our spring honey is now on the shelves at the Artisians' Shoppe at the Gerry House!

We had a good harvest this year and the honey is "white" to "extra white" on the USDA color scale. This is the lightest colored honey that we've produced, from our hives in Port Deposit, in the four years since we started keeping bees. The color of the honey is dependent on the flowers the bees are foraging, which explains why the spring harvest is lighter than the fall harvest. It is not only good for you, but soooo wonderfully delicious!

The power is out but the honey is flowing by candlelight. Our summer harvest is amazing and sooooo delicious!

We have started to receive inquiries regarding Phil Ash's pet portraits, after we posted the gorgeous mixed media piece of Dolce. I spoke to Phil and he is willing to accept commissions. Feel free to contact us if you are interested in receiving a one-of-a-kind portrait of your pet.

We are so excited to partner with the Granite Run Taproom for another fantastic felting class! Please join us on April 23rd, at 7:00 pm, to make felted flowers. Talented artists, Pat Palazzi and Karen Lewis, will teach us the relaxing art of felting. Participants will make at least one of the flowers pictured and have the opportunity to make more within the two-hour class time frame. The price of the class is $50 per person.
