Introducing: ๐๐๐ฉ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐ฎ๐ง๐
Founded by Jenn Cacciola (Co-Founder of former exhibition & studios space, Ice Cream Social), Neptune in June continues the curatorial and community project begun at Ice Cream Social. Our two-fold mission focuses on both supporting emerging artists seeking connection to the larger contemporary art dialogue, while bringing meaningful conversations to the Port Chester community that are in tune with local culture. We curate exhibitions locally and across the U.S., in addition to offering workshops, performances, and other public events in partnership with fellow art spaces and community service groups.

Neptune in June operates as an open, living question that asks what it means to consider oneself part of a community in its wholeness, perenniality, and history. In the same breath, we validate genuine curiosity and fascination with something new, when deepened through embedded, sensorial, and cognizant experiences.

Join us on June 1st for the reception of the first exhibition under the new name! The opening will coincide with the 2nd-Annual ๐ฃ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐๐๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ฟ๐๐ ๐๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐น, which we are proud to be co-organizing again this year in partnership with Clay Art Center. The festival provides free arts programming at art spaces and venues across town, including exhibitions, open studios, workshops in art/dance/theatre, artist booths, public art initiatives, displays & performances by local students, raffle baskets, and more.
