This week, Elite Fishing Series is in town, and what better time to look back at when we welcomed them to Mardi Gras Southeast Texas in 2017—and put them right in the middle of the Saturday night parade! 💜

It was a perfect Port Arthur pairing: world-class fishing by day and Mardi Gras fun by night. We love seeing the Elite Fishing Series back on our waters and can’t wait to welcome anglers and fans to Port Arthur this week. 💚

And with a new Mardi Gras Port Arthur tradition beginning in the Cajun Capital of Texas, this memory has us especially excited for what’s ahead! 💛

Mardi Gras Monday! Guys, remember when Mardi Gras Southeast Texas was THIS lit? We remember shoulder-to-shoulder contact all night, every night. These were the glory days we'd like to bring back to Port Arthur!

As we share memories from Mardi Gras' past, we'd like to honor what mgsetx brought to the table. We're taking up the banner now, but we APPRECIATE the decades long legacy that was built in our community!

In short, we want these crowds again. What's it going to take!?
