Another fortuitous "timing is everything" photo opp was enjoyed this morning inside the gem of Colorado Springs known as Garden of the Gods Park. Several rams from the nearby resident Bighorn Sheep herd slowed traffic as they grazed near the entrance to the park. Beautiful sight to witness on a beautiful bluebird Colorado day.

Photography is so often a matter of timing, amongst many other associated factors in getting a decent shot. This was a most opportune time to have captured a temporary migratory stop for this large flock of Roseate Spoonbills in the Corpus Christi Bay area. So amazing to witness this colorful display of aviary activity.

Good advice to make a habit of turning your head to see what's on the "flipside" during your tour of life! Fortunate was I to do just that and be able to capture these beautiful Black-bellied Whistling Ducks in flight with some degree of sharpness.

Every photographer knows it takes just ONE special capture out of hours of shooting to make it all worthwhile.
These beautiful Great Egrets jostling for position on their nests created that moment for me at the Bent Oaks Rookery in Rockport, Texas.
