I feel like I need to address something real quick for my sanity’s sake….AI……..
I know that everyone LOVES to use AI to see their tattoo ideas magically come to life. Every single day I have clients that send me their AI images and inspo and honestly, most of the time I don’t mind it. Would I rather you send me photos of ACTUAL tattoos and tell me what you like about each? Yes (bonus points if they’re photos of tattoos I’ve actually done lol) But here’s the thing…..AI doesn’t know how tattoos work, they don’t under how they age, and they don’t understand composition. 99% of the time the AI image can’t be done exactly like the photo as a tattoo, so as long as your ok with that being INSPO, I usually won’t have an issue with at least taking a look at your AI images. With that being said……PLEASE do not ask me to copy paste your AI design and put it on you as a tattoo. The answer will always be no. Why? Because that takes me from being an artist, to a technician and simply a printer. I take pride and joy in creating these pieces for my clients. I spend hours of unseen time drawing before we ever get to the shop for your tattoo and taking that away and asking me to tattoo a straight AI image completely takes away that human connection that is SO important in tattooing. So with that being said, please be understanding and realistic with you AI inspo photos and PLEASE do not ask me to give you those exact images as a tattoo, the answer will be no. Thank you for understanding 🖤
