We’ve seen the many questions and comments regarding the future of State Capitol Raceway, and we want to provide a clear update.
At this time, we have been unable to reach an agreement with the owners of the portion of the property that was leased by SCR we had hoped to come to terms that would allow for a path forward, those efforts have not been successful.
That said, we are actively exploring alternative options to keep racing alive. Specifically, we are evaluating the possibility of repositioning the track within the areas of State Capitol Raceway property that are fully owned.This process requires careful planning, and while we are looking at the options to pursuing it, we also want to be transparent that there is a possibility this option may not ultimately work.
Regardless of the outcome, we want our community to know that we are doing everything we can and leaving no stone unturned in an effort to preserve racing here. This track means a great deal to all of us, and we are approaching every option with that in mind.
