We are hiring a Property & Grounds Assistant
We’re looking for a dependable, hardworking person to help maintain our wedding venue and property. This position may be a great fit for a retired individual or someone who enjoys working outdoors and staying active. Pay is dependent on experience, paid on a 1099
Responsibilities:
- Move tables, chairs, and other heavy items
- Feed horses and cattle / clean stalls occasionally/ put out hay
- Mow, w**d flower beds, water, and maintain flower beds
- Pick up trash and keep the property looking its best
- Apply herbicides safely and responsibly around mature landscaping
- Direct parking and traffic during events
- Operate maintenance carts and assist with general property upkeep
Requirements:
* Must know how to drive a stick shift
* Must know how to drive a tractor / hookup attachments
* Comfortable working outdoors in the heat all summer
* Able to lift 50+ pounds
* Reliable and SELF-motivated
* Comfortable around livestock
* Basic knowledge of lawn care, landscaping, or property maintenance preferredwxz
Schedule:
Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Sunday, Monday: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
