Due to the recent decision of the majority of the Poplar Bluff City Council, all downtown development activities will now be overseen by the City of Poplar Bluff. This page will be deactivated in 10 days. For future downtown events and programs, please visit the City of Poplar Bluff’s page.
We want to sincerely thank our past and current City Managers (Matt Winters and Robert Knodell), the Mayor (Shane Cornman), Mayor Pro Tem (Lisa Parson), and city council member (and also past City Manager) Mark Massingham who supported the vision for downtown, and listened to the majority of downtown business owners. Also, we would like to thank the entire Chamber Board for its unwavering support for downtown over the past three years; and beyond.
Special thanks to Morgan McIntosh, who has led Downtown Poplar Bluff, Inc. with energy and vision for nearly six years. Morgan will continue making an impact as the Director of Business Development and Membership for the Poplar Bluff Chamber of Commerce.
We are proud of the accomplishments achieved through community partnerships and events—even when resources were limited. We wish the City of Poplar Bluff and all who care about downtown continued success in the years to come.
