Hydro Adventures Guests:

It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce that Hydro Adventures will not open for the 2020 season due to the devastating impact of the coronavirus epidemic. We love being the place for families in Poplar Bluff to spend their summers and are deeply disappointed to have to make this decision.

This was a very difficult decision. Management at Hydro Adventures carefully considered many options. However, we ultimately felt this was the best way to proceed in light of the current public health crisis.

Based upon the most recent announcement by Governor Mike Parson and the “Show Me Strong Recovery Plan” full reopening of the state of Missouri beginning Tuesday, June 16th, Hydro Adventures has set a tentative re-opening date of Wednesday, July 1st. We are monitoring additional guidance expected to be issued by Butler County to ensure compliance with all county and state restrictions.

Hydro Adventures will be announcing an enhanced package of benefits for our guests who have already purchased season passes to ensure that your value remains whole this season. Please keep checking our social media and website as we continue to make announcements over the next couple of weeks.

To Our Guests & Season Pass Holders,

Normally this time of year we would have our doors open, and the water park and outdoor fun park would be filled with laughter, joy, and summer fun.

Unfortunately, Hydro Adventures will not be opening in the next two weeks in compliance with Governor Parsons and Butler County’s extension of the Phase 1 recovery plan restrictions until June 15. The Governor’s executive order for businesses to close in response to the COVID-19 pandemic prevented our opening as originally scheduled and Phase 1 of the Show Me Strong Recovery plan contains restrictions too cumbersome for our business to operate at this time. We are continuously assessing the situation and expect to provide a further update in conjunction with the Governor’s next announcement on or near June 15.

For our valued Season Pass holders, we thank you for your continued patience. We will be releasing details of enhancements to the Season Pass program to make up any value lost due to the COVID-19 preventative closure once we know when full operations may resume. This has been frustrating for us all. We look forward to seeing you soon. Thank you.

To Our Guests,

All of us at the Hydro Adventures family misses having you, our guests, with us. Normally this time of year we would be opening the water park and outdoor fun park attractions and getting summer fun into high gear.

This pandemic has put stress on us all. We have grown new levels of appreciation for all that so many of you do in your daily lives as we all make sacrifices to keep each other safe. The spirit we see in the front-line workers that serve us all inspires all of us to be better. There’s no doubt that we will be better in the future because of it.

Unfortunately, Hydro Adventures will not be open as planned or for the Memorial Day Weekend. The Governor’s business closures halted our preparations and the first step under the Show Me Strong Recovery has restrictions that are too cumbersome for our business to move forward at this time. We are continuously assessing the situation and expect to update everyone following the Governor’s next assessment on May 31.

For our valued Season Pass holders, we intend to provide details for your loyalty to make up any value lost due to the Covid19 preventative closure once we know when full operations may resume. The timing of less restrictive measures will ensure your value is maximized.
