My partner designed and created these amazing wearable pieces of art, but he felt they fit on my page more than either of his so Im posting them here :) All the shirts are second hand that we've found and collected while thrifting over the past few months, then bleached by Clay. Sizes and prices are as follows in order of shirts in post:

Back in the winter I was on a walk near a trailhead that I often find bones at due to it being a popular hunter dump spot. I was expecting to find deer remains, the usual, but not this time. This day I was destined to find a domestic dog that had been dumped long enough beforehand that he was *almost* only bone and so determining breed without genetic testing would probably be impossible. I gloved up, brought his bones home and began the degreasing process that I did not know at the time was going to take me months. I grew a connection to this poor baby and began referring to him as Henry. I decided to turn his pitiful end of life treatment into works of art. The bones that were to degraded for me to work with, my partner turned into fertilizer for our garden, so Henry may go back to the Earth and begin his cycle again. Today at The Helpful Cultivators Third Annual Squish Off I will be debuting "The Henry Collection" with pieces I've made of the bones that used to house his sweet soul. I tried my hand at wire wrapping for the first time. All the crystals used are rose quartz. Most of the pieces are available, so come out to The Dirt Shack this evening between 4pm
and 8pm to check it out and a few other oddity items ill have with me. Clay will have a few super cool items on our table too!!

Spent my morning working on some fun mounts.

The first one is a fairy I made using a rabbit leg bone, and cicada wings from the big 2024 brood. Accented with a flourite chunk above and three small pieces of tumbled clear quartz below.

The second one is a Mink skull next to a female Clouded Sulphur who's head thorax and abdomen ive replaced with three small pieces of tumbled clear quartz. The duo on this mount is accompanied by a larger tumbled clear quartz as well.

Two of my nieces had birthdays this month. One mermaid lover turning 11, and one unicorn lover turning 8. The girls were happy with them, and that's what matters most to me. Also warmed my artist auntie heart so much when I gave them their necklaces and then both of them and their sister began showing me and gifting me some of the bracelets and necklaces they made :') being an Aunt is my favorite title.

I love using pieces that would normally be considered "waste" or "damaged" to create my pieces, often, literally giving it new life 😊 this time i used an old coyote skull i found a few years back, missing teeth and chipped, on a piece of cutoff wood from a friend who does wood working, along with a pretty torn up black swallowtail butterfly I found in a parking lot last year, and a red spotted purple butterfly i found when I first started collected specimens 🦋
